Job Description

A well-established company that creates and manufactures custom hair colour and guidance, tools, and expertise for clients to apply their colour at home is recruiting for Warehouse Assistant (Picking & Packing). They are a Los Angeles, CA based company who has expanded operations to the UK in our North Acton, London facilities.

The Warehouse Assistant will support the day to day dispensing and packing operations in our UK manufacturing facility including but not limited to the following responsibilities:
  • Properly dispense into bottles all orders from the dispensing machines
  • Appropriately cap and torque caps with the capping machine to prevent leaks
  • Maintain the dispensing and packing areas to make sure the line and all drums are clean
  • Check machines daily to ensure proper functioning and / or call out any issues
  • Assist in safely changing out hair dye drums
  • Meet or exceed daily production quotas
  • Print and apply labels from printers
  • Responsible for restocking shipping labels or any necessary products at the sourcing stations
  • Pick and pack orders
  • Assist in wrapping all outgoing pallets prior to shipping
  • Exercise sound judgment and work effectively with a diverse workforce
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Detail-Oriented with good Communication Skills
  • Self-Motivated with a proven record of taking initiative and strong work ethic
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to execute tasks in an ever-changing environment
  • Forklift certified or willingness and ability to become forklift certified
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to operate a variety of tools
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides
  • Basic knowledge of fabrication techniques
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
