My sector leading client, in manufacturing, are looking to recruit a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to join their team.
You will be responsible for the Warehousing & Logistics operations of my client's sites in Gloucestershire.
The successful candidate will be able to consistently deliver both short and long term targets safely, on time and within budget to ensure excellent customer service.
The Warehouse & Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the storage procedure, from the complicated storage logistics, to managing the warehouse workers - scheduling shifts and ensuring staff are adequately trained.
Logistically you will be required to organise the safe and efficient storage and distribution of goods, and to ensure that orders are fulfilled and delivered on time and correctly to each customer.
We are looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Manager that has:
o Previous logistics management experience in a busy and demanding environment
o Strong people management experience
o Able to plan and execute and deliver targets with a continual emphasis on improving performance
o Ideally holds a IOSHH qualification or has significant experience of driving improvement in health and safety within a logistics environment
o Holds a CPC accreditation
o Excellent understanding of legal compliance required in a logistics environment
o Effective problem solving, analytical and organisation skills
o Ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation and with both internal and external customers
o Proven track record of effective decision making
o A 'can do', proactive approach, with the ability to motivate others
o IT literate
o Flexible in approach to work requirements, shift patterns to meet business needs
Warehousing, Manufacturing Management: 5 years (Preferred)
Logistics Management: 5 years (Preferred)
