Job Description

Virtual Tutoring Opportunities – English, Maths & Science

TeacherActive are commissioned by several Local Authorities to provide sustained tuition to disadvantaged students who have been impacted by the Covid-19 school closures. We are looking for tutors to help provide this support to Key Stage 4 students to assist them to attain their predicted GCSE grades in Mathematics and English.

Tuition will be delivered virtually on a 1:1 basis. Successful tutors will be required to deliver tuition programmes over a set period on a part time basis.

The successful applicant will have the follow:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or relevant classroom experience
Excellent and clear knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
The ability to plan and communicate effectively with students, parents, and carers
Committed to delivering engaging, challenging, and developmental sessions over the course of a 10-hour block
Show progression in children's learning using feedback forms on a weekly or bi-weekly basis
