Vehicle Engineering

Vehicle Engineering is a market-leading manufacturer and converter of armoured vehicles and products. Drawing on over 100 years' experience, we supply and support deployed vehicles worldwide to customers including the police, fire and ambulance services, civil service, and military. Together, we deliver an end-to-end through-life methodology to supply our clients with specialist vehicle conversions.

The role

The difference our new Vehicle Trimmer will make

As a Vehicle Trimmer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll have the opportunity to work across multiple departments, designing, patterning and manufacturing on all aspect of covert vehicles which will include work on armoured seats, body building and upholstery, to name a few.

Day to day, you'll produce automotive interior parts using various trim materials, produce patterns for automotive interior trim, strip / re-trim automotive components and alter OEM interior trim to facilitate additional fitted equipment.

Essential experience
Previous experience of vehicle interior trim work
Produce patterns for a wide range of vehicle trim applications
Experience of using all types of upholstery adhesives
Experience of stripping and re-trimming automotive interiors
Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve desired results
