Job Title: Vehicle Technician
Location: Gloucester
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm (overtime as required)
Salary: £23,000 - £25,000

Summary
Our client, a UK wide fleet solutions company with over 25 years' experience are currently recruiting for Paint Sprayer's to join their team due to continued company growth. This position will be based in their Gloucester depot.

Job Summary:
Carry out diagnosis, service, repairs, PDI and Inspections to both company and third party customer vehicles as requested.

Key duties within this position include:
*Diagnose faults on vehicles; road test as necessary (subject to appropriate license)
Repair, service, maintain and inspect all vehicles as requested by Workshop Manager and Charge hand
*Carry out vehicle inspection (routine and pre-MOT) according to Company schedules. Report to Charge hand and repair as instructed
*Recommend to Charge hand specialist repair requirements
*Comply with Company and statutory safety rules within workshop and throughout all vehicle repair operations
*Miscellaneous workshop duties (e.g. parts fitment) on instruction from Charge hand or Workshop Manager
*Report any sub-standard work identified to the Charge hand
*Deputise for Charge hand where appropriate and as agreed
*To support the training of semi-skilled staff and trainee mechanics
*
Skills/Experience Required
*Standard UK Driving license
*Level 3 or equivalent in vehicle maintenance and repairs
*A minimum of one year's commercial experience working as a Vehicle Technician
*Experience of working on a wide range of cars and commercial vehicles or working with a fleet of vehicles
*Demonstrate a commitment to continued learning by participating in on-going raining and any other industry related training requirements
*Able to meet targets and deadlines
*Ability to work effectively under pressure
*Be able to work as part of a team
*Comply with Health and Safety requirements and legislation
*Maintain a positive working relationship with all members of staff
*Self-motivated
