Working week: minimum of 37.5 hours per week + overtimes paid at premium rate
Location: Southampton
Working week: 37.5 hours week Mon-Fri Wk 1 0800 -1625 & Wk 2 0945hrs -1800
Salary: £29759 + bonus + 30 days holidays

Permanent opportunities for HGV and Ford Trained Mechanics in Southampton area

We are currently seeking to recruit couple Vehicle Mechanics in Southampton area. Both opportunities are permanent and they would require working 37.5 hour week Monday to Friday.

Commercial Vehicle Mechanic salary £29759 per annum + 10 % bonus
You will be an apprentice trained or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with experience in repair and servicing of HGVs and trailers.

Other responsibilities will include:
Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
Diagnose faults and malfunctions
Repair and maintenance of: electrical systems, alignments, steering and suspension, hydraulic systems, cooling and heating systems and drive train components
Perform scheduled maintenance services
Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
Road tests vehicles when required
Keeps shop area neat and clean after each repair
Must be willing and able to work overtime when required


Ford Trained Mechanic salary £29759 per annum + 10 % bonus
Ideally ex ford trained technician qualified to apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with experienced of working on a wide range of cars.
