The role

As a Vehicle Painter, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be part of a team who carry out the preparation of the vehicles before painting.

Day to day, work on Military vehicles with some cars and trailers, preparing and sanding down in preparation for painting. You'll then paint, buff and polish the vehicles working within the given timescales.

  • Paint Preparation - Stripping, Sanding , Washing , Buffing , Priming and masking
  • Use of degreasers and other cleaning agents.
  • Painting tasks including spraying, patch painting and rolling
  • Operation of MHE, Overhead cranes and forklifts. Working at Height

Essential experience of the Vehicle Painter

  • Experience with car painting
  • IT literate
  • Excellent communication written and verbal

This is a full time role based onsite at Leconfield.

Qualifications for the Vehicle Painter

  • NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
