Job Description

We welcome applications from experienced utility service surveyors to join our growing utilities geophysics team.

We are the UK's leading independent geophysical specialist, providing utilities mapping, environmental and engineering geophysical surveys, and unexploded ordnance services to a wide range of construction, infrastructure and engineering clients. Renowned for our innovative solutions, breadth of capability, and for going the extra mile, we are the "go-to" provider for many of the UK's largest engineering and environmental consultancies, site investigation contractors and infrastructure owners.

The company's success is due in no small part to a strong team ethos combining the resources of our teams, with an enviable equipment inventory and a purpose-built office to covet.

We are looking for people with at least two years' experience of providing PAS-128 and TSA compliant utilities mapping surveys. You will have a QCF Level 3 (or better) in utilities mapping and be proficient in routine techniques such as EML, RFL, GPR and surveying. Experience in other detection techniques is an advantage.

You will ideally be an experienced AutoCAD user, with an ability to provide high quality BIM compliant deliverables. Experience in back-office processing of datasets such as GPR, including interpretation and reporting is also desirable.

You will be involved in projects at all stages, and will have ample opportunity to expand your knowledge, progressing your career within a friendly and supportive team.

You will be based at our office in Eynsham, Oxfordshire. Most of your work will relate to UK projects, but the opportunity to be involved in international projects is likely to arise. A valid UK driving licence is essential.

Salary is dependent on experience and will be subject to review after 6 and 12 months. Your performance and development will be reviewed yearly there-on as a matter of course, to ensure your career progression. Salary enhancements include:-

* Project-related incentive scheme (paid for projects completed on time and to budget).

* Companywide profit share scheme.

* Daily ‘in the pocket’ field allowance of ~£16.80 per day.

* Medical cash scheme (for expenses for dentistry/opticians etc).

All field expenses etc. are paid by the company either directly or through use of a company credit card.

Agreed overtime of double-time for nights/Sundays and bank holidays, time and a half on Saturdays. 25 days annual leave, increasing a day per year to 30 days. Stakeholder (Royal London) pension scheme.

Depending on your circumstances, we may also help with relocation or temporary accommodation for a short period.

If you think this is a role for you, then please send us your CV with a short covering letter.

Due to the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 crisis, this role is currently only available to applicants who permanently reside in the UK.
