University Student- Paid work in Secondary School


£65 to £75 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience required for this position is 5 days in sole charge of a group of children in the last 10 years.

ABC Teachers are looking to recruit a reliable and flexible university student to work in our local schools in Nottingham and the surrounding areas as either a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant.

About the role:

This is the ideal role for someone who is looking for casual or full time work around your current committments to your studies. Whatever your availabilty is we can work with to find you suitable secondary schools. This role will involve working as either a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant in a variety of local secondary schools in Loughborough covering a range of subjects. Cover Supervisors and Teaching Assistants are fundamental to the running of ABC Teachers due to the adaptability they hold. A Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant is not required to plan, mark, or assess, the work will be provided for you.

About you:

Minimum of 5 days experience working in sole charge of a group of children, that we can reference within the last 10 years
Able to obtain suitable references and a valid DBS check*
Have strong communication skills with the ability to quickly built a good rapport with students and staff
A passion for working with children, in a calm and authoritative manner
