Tutor of Physics
Hours: 37 hours per week (1.0 fte)
Salary: Up to £35,486 per annum (subject to experience and qualifications) plus generous benefits. These include:
55 days annual leave per year (including bank holidays and efficiency closures)
Generous Occupational Pension Scheme - employer contribution of 23.68%
Payment of 100% of your teacher training course fees if you do not have a recognised Level 5 teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE) - worth up to £6,000 over 2 years
About the Role
We require an outstanding Tutor to join our experienced science and physics team. You will be an enthusiastic and student centred teacher with a passion for physics. We can offer you the support to develop your career and the opportunity to teach on a wide range of popular and successful physics courses. Course programmes include A level and Level 3 BTEC National diploma, Access, Foundation and Extended Degrees.
You will join a team of experienced physicists who work in close collaboration with the Mathematics department. Lessons are delivered in modern and well-resourced physics laboratories, supported by a specialist physics technician. Applicants must have a physics or related degree qualification.
