Job Description

My Telford based client is currently recruiting on a temporary basis for a Treasury Team Leader. As a Treasury Team Leader you will lead the treasury and accounting services teams to meet the business needs for cash liquidity, supplier payments and banking services and provide excellent levels of customer service and financial controls.

The role will be Monday - Friday 9-5 and paying £15.57ph

Duties of Treasury Team Leader:

·Manage all cash and banking facilities - ensuring liquid funds are available to settle payments to suppliers and staff.
·Manage suppliers, purchase card and employee expenses accounts. Settle bills in a timely manner, totalling £40m annually.
·Hold and develop the primary operational relationships with banks and the cash collection provider and be the delegated budget holder and controller of these costs negotiating supplier contracts.
·Prepare cash flow forecasts for the group to identify potential funding requirements or levels of surplus cash, ensuring that bank balances remain within agreed limits.
·Provide cash analysis for inclusion in Budgets, Forecasts, Management Accounts, Statutory Accounts and Business Plans.
·To lead and develop a team of employees effectively through the employee lifecycle.
·Be responsible for the day to day delivery of treasury, purchase ledger and expenses services and provide advice and support to customers across the whole of the business, as the expert.
·Manage the credit control process ensuring that all amounts due to the group are recovered promptly.
·Review bank reconciliations and ensure that receipts and payments are correctly accounted for.

Experience required for Treasury Team Leader post:

·Professional accounting or treasury qualification or substantial experience in a similar role
·Experience of leading and developing finance transactional teams
·Experience of managing banking and payment facilities
·Experience of all aspects of cash control
·Experience of governance and financial controls
·Broad experience of financial processes
·Good excel skills for data manipulation
