ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To Assist in the running of the Transport Office
Liaising with customers via phone or email regarding collections and planned deliveries
Assisting with the booking in process
Checking POD's against load sheets on a daily basis
Arranging collections of faulty or incorrectly delivered items
Arranging collections of service parts
Liaising with external carriers regarding collections and deliveries
Chasing up missing items on orders and updating memo on the system
Printing delivery notes for drivers
Ad hoc duties
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Secondary Education to GCSE level.
Good excel knowledge.
Able to create spreadsheets.
Assertive but polite telephone manner
Knowledge of Chairman (not essential training will be given)
Full clean driving license
Due to the nature of this role the individual is required to take all holidays during the factory shutdowns.
Working Hours :
07.30 am to 16.00 pm Monday to Thursday
07.30 am to 15.00 Fridays
