The roleAs Training Services Director, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. From full turnkey projects, to the management and maintenance of specialist training facilities, Babcock is committed to developing and delivering training solutions which meet the specific and safety-centric needs of our customers.
Your role will be instrumental in transforming our approach within the business unit to the delivery of core services, which are customer agnostic. Responsible for working with the leadership team on determining the strategy and approach to services and the roadmap to deliver these. You will assume responsibility for some key services from the appointment but will then be responsible for determining others which are in scope and the appropriate approach to their delivery (this may be creating standardisation through to centralisation).
You will also be responsible for building a strategy to ensure that the training services provided are best in class and standardised so that they can be deployed for any new opportunities.
Essential experience of the Training Services Director- Training services expertise
- Transformation / change management experience
- Proven experience of delivering projects with significant stakeholder engagement
- Ofsted / ESFA / apprenticeship knowledge (desirable)
- Experience of strategy generation and execution (desirable)
This is a full-time role with a flexible location, but will require frequent travel to our operational sites across the UK
Qualifications for the Training Services Director- Degree level education, or equivalent experience
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
