Temporary Agency Relief Chefs - North Derbyshire

£10 to £13 depending on experience

Due to new business and clients joining us this year at Blue Arrow Derby, 2020 is looking to be a very busy and exciting year. We are looking to expand our Chefs database, with excellent, experienced chefs, to support our clients in and around Derby and Derbyshire, initially to cover all holiday, sick and recruitment cover, these role may lead to permanent positons for the right candidates.
Your main duties will include
* You will be cooking for small to large numbers majority of this being contact catering, hotels, restaurants, schools and care homes.
* Working in a variety of kitchens & environments
* Supervising and managing kitchens and brigades
* Some menu planning may be required
* Offering support to aspiring chefs within the kitchen
* Ordering and managing stock control
* Following menu instructions in some locations

The ideal candidate
* Previous chef experience in all environments including pubs/restaurants and contract catering
* Hard working
* Takes pride in accuracy in their work
* Highly motivated
* You should have a good working knowledge of current food trends and special dietary requirements.
* Great communication skills
* Food hygiene certificate level 2 & Health and safety qualifications dated within the last 3 years - we do have facilities to put you through this at a cost
* Passionate about working with fresh ingredient's
* Ability to work under pressure
* You will have at least 2 years background working as a chef
* You will be Senior Chef De Partie level or above
* You will have your own chef whites and knives
