The Digital Services team is responsible for customer interactions for the Bank. Whether it's for the online digital channels such as Mobile and Online Bank or the Fraud prevention systems that underpin the Customer interaction, the Digital Services are responsible for delivering the best and protected customer experiences.

Looking for a Lead Full Stack Developer with an enthusiasm for new and emerging technologies who works best in a collaborative team environment.

Participating in the evolution of the Digital platform that will change the bank and how our customers interact with us.

Driving the design, implementation, testing, deployment and post-release support in an agile development environment.

Executing on engineering and release priorities successfully through strong leadership and communication

Taking full ownership of a portfolio of change related to one or more key products across Online Banking

Leading and mentor a team of engineers to further their technical prowess. You succeed when your team does

What you'll bring.

Extensive front end development experience, specifically with Angular. The Team is currently moving to OmniChannel

Previous experiencing leading large technical teams or multiple squads

Broad experience of agile software development practices (Unit testing, Test driven development or CI/CD)

Extensive experience working with Spring Framework and Message Queues

GitHub or Stack Overflow contributions

Previous experience as full stack developer of BKS, Java + Spring boot, web services

It would also be nice for you to have

The ability to direct the team's focus to what matters most

The ability to help your team shine while building responsibilities and growing in their roles

Experience building applications in cloud environments

The ability to define technical architecture solutions

What else you need to know.

Given the recent impact of the Coronavirus outbreak we will be conducting all interviews via telephone or videoconference where possible.

This is a Permanent role based in Milton Keynes, which is currently Hybrid 2 days in the office.
