Working as part of a team, you will assist in co-ordinating the effective delivery of sewer connection applications under both S106 and S107 within our statutory time scales. During this process, you must ensure that our customer is at the heart of everything we do as well as ensuring our assets are fully protected.
You will manage all calls, emails and enquiries, promptly and courteously, whilst providing a single point of contact when appropriate and offering advice when required.
Support the team by keeping track and fully recording quotation sign offs, raising purchase orders, arranging variations and refunds.
Building and maintaining strong relationships between yourself and our alliance partners to ensure smooth and efficient transactions for all quoted connections under S106 and S107.
Responding to internal and external requests for information, provide advice and guidance on matters regarding quoted connections in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Effectively contribute to the meeting of the team’s overall performance and achievement of all targets.
Proactively managing workloads to meet customer demands.
Taking corrective action when jobs are in jeopardy or failing to meet the customer agreed date or service requirements.
Responding positively and promptly to requests for additional information from other internal team's to resolve customer issues and complaints.
Maintaining and recording quality, accurate, up to date customer information on relevant systems.
To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain and develop good working relationships to deliver exceptional customer service
- Previous experience of dealing with customers both written and verbally is essential
- A background in the water industry is desirable
- Confident in your subject matter, you will have the ability to communicate relatively technical information to a non-technical audience
- The ability to prioritise high volumes of work in a fast paced environment where daily responsibilities can change is essential
- You will be required to take responsibility for your own workload and use your initiative to find an appropriate resolution
- IT literate and the ability to learn new systems quickly is vital
Working collaboratively within an established team, you will have an exposure to a wide variety of stakeholders including contractors and suppliers.
In an ever changing environment, you will be in a position to support and assist the implementation of new processes and systems, provide constructive feedback to enhance training material and improve the service offering we deliver to our customers.
