Job Description

This is a rare and exciting new role to make your own. You will be assisting with ensuring the quality of delivered products and services to customers is at a continued exceptional standard along with ensuring the health and safety policies and procedures across the site are in place.

Main responsibilities:

*Ensure all quality related documentation and certification is accurate and added correctly to the system.
*Deal with any supplier issues from delivery times, cost queries and financial issues.
*Qualify new suppliers with the occasional visit to supplier site.
*Conduct internal audits and assist with the external audits which occur every 6 months.
*Enter information onto the relevant systems with reference to accidents, first aid, hazardous material, training and corrective actions.
*Encourage collaboration across the company. Actively promoting and encouraging continual improvement by communicating information, seeking feedback and changing processes accordingly.
*Ensure all equipment and devices are maintained in accordance with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998. Arrange any repair work or replacement as appropriate.
*Assisting in maintaining ISO9001 and OHSAS18001 certification.
*Assess the manual handling activities are in accordance with the manual handling operating regulations 1992.
*Ensure that Health & Safety issues are dealt with in line with company policy and within legal requirements.
*Report any action or process, which is non-compliant with legislative, or company Health & Safety requirements
*Assist in maintaining records of Health & Safety documentation in line with company document retention policy.

Skills and experience required:-

You will be from an administration/co-ordinating background with:-
*Good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
*Experience in using database systems
*Proven organisation skills and experience
*Ideally possess QSHE administration/co-ordination experience
