Operating in the most dynamic environment, our client is seeking an experienced Team Leader who thrives on the fun and challenges that come their way.
Supporting the operational requirements outlined by the Operations Supervisor, by organising a diverse team of Operations personnel to satisfy compliance and achieve delivery scheduled in line with the customer expectations. In addition, you will be responsible for organising the team in a way that supports the company ethos on safety, quality and high work standards.
As a Team Leader, your duties will be:
" To allocate and arrange staffing cover as deemed necessary across all activities.
" Ensure all training methods are applied and that all equipment and associated activities are "fit for purpose".
" Ensuring the completion of the administrative tasks are completed daily.
" Partake in route/ schedule planning and road sense analysis.
" Maintain good working knowledge of transport routes and opportunities.
" Maintain all aspects of customer service levels throughout operation, with particular focus on, "On Time, In Full, Every time" order availability.
An ideal Team Leader will hold the following skills and experiences:
" Knowledge of Transport/ Warehouse operations.
" Minimum of 2 years' experience within FMCG or fast moving goods distribution environment.
" Excellent people management skills.
" Knowledge and understanding systems, with experience Tachomaster, Road Sesnse or equivalent.
" Excellent planning and organising skills.
" Committed to continually improve personal and team performance.
The Successful Team Leader will receive a competitive salary of £24,796.20 plus a 5% bonus opportunity, 28 days annual leave.
