1:1 Teaching Assistant (1:1 TA)

January 2023 – July 2023

£380.00 - £420.00 per week


Vision for Education are seeking to employ a Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in Year 6 at a large primary school. The role would be full time, working 08:30-15:30, Monday-Friday, commencing ASAP until the end of the academic year. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position is a Level 2 in Teaching and Learning.

The role

The successful candidate will be offering 1:1 support to a child with ASC and is violent. They must have a professional and approachable manner and be able to build a fantastic rapport with the child and class teacher to ensure the pupil is thoroughly supported.

To be considered for the 1:1 Teaching Assistant post, you will:

Hold a minimum of Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning Qualification.
Have excellent knowledge of the Key Stage 2 Curriculum.
Preferably have some experience of supporting children with ASC and can be violent.
Have an approachable and calming manner.
