Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in Chesterfield. This is a fulltime primary teaching assistant role, working in a Year 3 Class which will commence in Jan 2023 until July 2023.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
The desired SEND Teaching Assistants will be working in a local primary school five days a week. Working one to one with a child in a Year 3 class. The desired person needs to be nurturing and calm in their approach. The role would suit someone with excellent SEND knowledge. Someone who has worked in a special school would be ideal for this role. With experience of working with SEMH (Social, Emotional Mental Health issues) ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) EBD (Emotional Behavioural Difficulties).

The school has a strong leadership team and dedicated staff who have a real pride in their aspects of teaching and learning. To be considered for the SEND Year 3 Teaching Assistant position, you will:
Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary environment.
Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
Ideally have experience delivering primary lessons.
