Early Years Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA)

November 2022 – July 2023

Vision for Education are looking to appoint an Early Years Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) to work full-time at a school in the Newcastle area. This role is set to commence in November 2022, working between the hours of 08:30-15:30pm. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.

The role

The ideal candidate will be working within the school’s Nursery class consisting of 20 pupils. The TA will be working alongside the class teacher and another Teaching Assistant to provide outstanding provision and learning to all children to aid their development.

This is an average sized provision set in the Newcastle area. The Primary School is rated as ‘good’ by Ofsted, and they aim to provide an inclusive and exciting learning environment for all pupils to progress and achieve.


To be considered for the Nursery Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) post, you will:

Hold a minimum of Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning Qualification.
Have a genuine desire to work as part of a motivated team.
Be able to complete tasks independently as well as part of a team.
Be committed to providing outstanding provision for the pupils within your care.

Have experience of working within Early Years.
