Job Description

Are you a Teaching Assistant who is a specialist working with EAL Children within a Primary School? If so, then we want to hear from you.

We are working with a good school in the Birmingham area, who require a EAL Teaching Assistant to join their team full time from September.

The recent Ofsted report for the school praised the progress of disadvantaged and pupil premium pupils, noting a good attitude to learning across the whole school. They also noted the strength and passion of the SLT in raising standards. The school is looking for a committed, enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant, to work on a 1:1 and group basis with pupils for whom English is a second language. No specific language is required, however you MUST be able to demonstrate success in a previous role:

The EAL Teaching Assistant
  • Must hold a Level 3 Teach qualification.
  • You must be able to demonstrate success previously working within EAL.
  • You will have worked in a Primary School Setting.
