Job Description

If you have experience working in any type of Mental Health setting, we would love to hear from you!

We work with a variety of provisions across Derby that cater for pupils who present with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties. Our provisions require individuals who are compassionate, caring and confident to work with extremely challenging behaviour, for disaffected pupils.

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic we are looking for poeple that can be flexible and that are availalbe to work at least 3 days per week. You also need to have access to your own car. 

The type of candidates we are ideally looking for include:

Youth Workers
Support Workers
Prison workers
Experience gained in mental health units
Experience gained in inclusion units of schools
Experience gained in Pupil Referral Units
Team Teach trained (or similar such as MAPA, NAPPI and PI training)
Ex-military
Sports coaches
We require candidates who can help to support pupils in these provisions, specifically helping to reduce anxiety, support the class teacher with disruptive behaviour, and help the students to progress both academically and socially.

The roles from our clients are varied, therefore we are looking for resilient, versatile individuals who are hoping to make a difference to hard to reach young people in the Derby community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
