Job Description

Are you a Teaching Assistant who has experience working with SEMH or challenging behaviour? Do you want to work in a setting that supports students no longer in mainstream education? We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who has the ability to build rapport with students, be creative, and enjoy working with young people.


Working as part of a small team, you will enjoy working on a 1-2-1 and small group basis with Key Stage 3 & 4 students. The team are dedicated and proactive, and always put the needs of students first. This is an opportunity to be part of a team that is genuinely passionate about what they do.


Job Role:
  • Providing, academic and behaviour support
  • Building rapport with students, getting to know their individual needs
  • Supporting the class Teacher
  • Leading fun and educational activities for students
  • Making a difference
Ideally, you will:
  • Have experience working as a Teaching Assistant
  • Be able to work with challenging behaviour
  • Have recent experience working with Special Educational Needs
  • Be resilient, confident and empathetic towards students’ needs
