Teacher of Mathematics - September 2019: Scunthorpe

An Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' secondary school in the Scunthorpe area are seeking a qualified Teacher of Mathematics to start in September covering maternity until July 2020. The successful candidate will have experience of covering Key stage 3 and Key stage 4 classes in a mainstream secondary school.

The school will consider applicants who are experienced or Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs). It is essential to have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to be considered for this role.
  • Have experience of teaching Mathematics at KS3/KS4
  • Have excellent subject knowledge and a passion for the subject
  • Be an inspirational role model; committed to their own learning and that of others
Mathematics Teacher Role Information:
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons to inspire and engage KS3 & KS4 pupils
  • Mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils' progress and development
  • Manage pupil behaviour in the classroom and on school premises, and apply appropriate and effective measures
**The role will be paid to scale based
