Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are;

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a school environment as a teacher within the last 5 years.
Experience of teaching Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.
Contract dates

Start Date: September 2020

The role

ABC Teachers, part of TES, are looking to recruit an excellent Design and Technology Teacher, with experience of teaching Engineering and Product Design, to work in a ‘Good’ secondary school in Walsall for a long term position with a September 2020 start day.

The Successful Design and Technology Teacher will be working on a full-time basis in a long-term role. As a full-time Design and Technology Teacher you will be required to deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons to Key stage 3, 4 and 5 pupils.

As a full-time member of staff, you will be expected to fulfil all teaching duties such as high-quality lesson planning, marking and extracurricular events such as parents evening.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you are a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT), or an experienced Design and Technology Teacher looking to further progress an extremely rewarding teaching career.

A ‘Good’ school based on Walsall, housing key stage 3, 4 and 5 pupils.

To be considered for the Design and Technology Teacher position, you will:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a school environment as a teacher within the last 5 years.
Have a passion for teaching Design and Technology with an emphasis on pupil progress and learning
Have experience of teaching Engineering and Product Design
