Sheridan Maine is currently recruiting for a Part Time Tax Accountant to join a well-established dynamic retail organisation based in Swindon. This innovative business is a growing, modern and highly reputable company across the UK offering a competitive salary and benefits.

The Tax Accountant will work with the Tax Team assisting with all areas of taxation and the duties will cover but are not limited to:

• Assisting and supporting the Tax Team with a range of duties to support the groups tax compliance and reporting and a range of other Project related activities.
• Assist with the completion of all tax accounting work for year end and half year for group accounts, forecasts and statutory accounts
• Implementation of processes and procedures
• Production of VAT documentation including registrations, quarterly returns and payments
• Corporate tax compliance
• Liaising with HMRC and External Auditors
• PAYE registrations

The successful candidate will ideally be CTA Qualified (ACCA / ACA or equivalent) with strong working knowledge of UK tax legislations, including corporation, employment and indirect tax. You will have the ability to communicate effectively across the business as well as prioritising workload and managing a small team. Previous experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Senior or Tax Partner would be beneficial and this position is easily commutable from Swindon, Reading, Newbury, Thatcham, Didcot.
