Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Systems Support Trainer Developer to work on a Permanent basis for our client SHB Vehicle Hire, a market leading national vehicle fleet management company. This position will be based nationally.

As a Systems Support Trainer Developer your role will be to manage training programmes and system development and support.

Your duties as a General Manager will be to:
*Design and expand training and development programmes based on current or new SHB procedures.
*Design and write system user manuals for new and existing software programmes.
*Produce training materials for in-house training.
*Amend and revise programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes to SHB procedures.
*Manage roll outs for new software programmes or amendments to existing software programmes. - This includes developing and carrying out training programmes as listed above.
*Carry out Kerridge report writing and amendments.
*Manage Kerridge & FOD support inboxes to make sure calls are followed up in a timely manner.
*Log and follow through Kerridge support calls.
*Log and follow through FOD support calls including managing support log.
*Log and follow through Kerridge enhancement requests including managing ENH log.
*Log and follow through FOD change requests including managing change request log.
*Hold regularly telephone conferences with both system suppliers to agree timescales and monitor developments.
*Research, design and write new software programmes using Excel VBA.
*Designing and carrying out test plans for enhancement and change requests.
*Reporting faults found in testing and arranging fixes.
*Develop existing systems (FOD & Kerridge) by analysing and identifying areas for modification.

Essential Skills:
*Full UK driving license
*Experience within system and training development
*Demonstrable evidence of managing roll outs for new software programmes.
*Desirable experience in Kerridge and FOD.
*Excellent communication and customer care skills.
*A good standard of both written and spoken English.
*A tenacious, enthusiastic, and flexible disposition.
*Good self-starter with the ability to multi-task.
*Ability to work well under pressure.
*Be a well organised individual with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.

This position does offer flexibility within location and working from home. In this position you will be expected to travel thought out the UK as required which will involve some overnight stays.
