The role

As a Systems Analyst Team Leader, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will lead a team of between 8 and 10 Analysts responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting engineering software applications in accordance with the solution roadmaps, in-line with business and IT strategy.

Day to day, you'll be responsible for the line management and resource management of the team interacting with team members, project managers and service managers

• One to one meeting with team members; assisting with their development plans
• Allocating projects to team members
• Dealing with escalations and issues
• Administration and reporting

Essential experience of the Systems Analyst Team Leader,

• Management, Leadership or Mentoring experience
• Background in IT and application software delivery is desirable
• Experience in ITIL, Service Management or IT Project Management is desirable
• IT or Engineering related Degree is desirable, or equivalent qualifications and experience

The role is mostly home working, with the requirement to travel for meetings 1-2 times per month, expenses paid.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
