£28,000 DOE

Braintree, Essex

Temp - Perm over 13 weeks

Here at Prime Appointments we are looking for a Supported Living Manager to assist the Learning Disabilities Service Registered Manager in the day to day running of a group of Supported Facilities across the Braintree area - including one location in Witham. The biggest service looks after 8 residents and all the services cover over 18 year olds. As a small branch of a nationwide company, this role offers the qualities of both personal and corporate environments. Your hours will be 9am - 5pm but there is a requirement to support on call for advise to staff out of hours and to cover care visits if necessary.

Responsibility for the day-to-day management of the houses
Participate in regular reviews of residents
Ensure that the team operates in accordance with the Policies and Procedures of our client and the team comply with professional standards, policy and practice eg: medication management and service user personal finance management
Participate in safeguarding meetings and other appropriate multi-disciplinary meetings as required, liaising with the Registered manager as appropriate.
Collect and monitor quality data to continually improve outcomes for residents as required by the Registered manager and clients quality team.Qualifications and experience required for the Supported Living Manager role :

Health & Social Care Diploma level 5 or equivalent, or sufficient demonstrable experience and value base (candidate must be prepared to undertake suitable qualifications with support)
The COVID-19 Vaccine is preferred for this position.
Ability to work in a service managing very sensitive and emotive cases
Flexible approach to working hours; able to work unsocial hours, evenings and weekends, as required
Experience of working successfully in a CQC registered environment
Staff management experience, able to demonstrate ability to manage, supervise, develop, engage and motivate staff at all levels
Ability to respond appropriately to safeguarding, fraud and/or whistleblowing concerns and full awareness of reporting procedures and requirements
Driver essential as you will be managing a few sites across Braintree
