What does a Support Worker do?
As a Support Worker you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will enormously contribute to the people we support, living a more comfortable and happy life.
At this service we support with the below;
• Personal care - helping people to get ready for the day and assisting with bathing, showering and using the bathroom.
• Supporting people to live happy and fulfilling lives – budget management, paying bills, house work, organising appointments and cooking delicious healthy meals.
• Community & Social Inclusion-Supporting people with learning disabilities to access and participate in their local community and social events to promote life skills and independence.

Shift times can vary from a 7am start through to a 10pm finish, you may also be required to complete waking nights 10pm-8am– you must be able to get to the service for your allocated start time. For this particular service, if you were a full time member of staff, you would be expected to work 2 in 3 weekends, 2 full weekends on followed by 1 full weekend off. Sleep in’s will be required.
