Paid after successful completion of probation period (6 months) or, if part time or bank, work the equivalent of 975 hours.
Payments are subject to taxable deductions.

Main duties and responsibilities:
To participate in the day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment.
To maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families and others whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality.
To support service users with the preparation of Meals, Laundry duties, cleaning and social events.
To maintain accurate notes and records as and when required.
To work as part of a team to provide high quality care.
May Lodge is a care home which provides care and support for upto 3 people with learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorder with additional physical disability needs. This service is located in bungalow accommodation and fully accessible for people in wheelchairs.
The service is set within a residential housing area, but is set back from a busy road and on site parking is available. It has good transport links to Ashford and Folkestone.
Diploma in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards one.
The ability to keep calm under pressure.
