Lancashire Community Services provides support at home, in the community and supported living to children, young people and adults across Lancashire.
We can provide flexible care and support for as much or as little time as you wish; whether it’s for a few hours, a day, an evening, or in a supported living setting for 24 hours a day. With us, you're supported to live the life you want, your way. What you do every day
Our Support Workers are the heroes of our workforce. They are the ones who overcome daily challenges to achieve amazing outcomes for the people we support. Each day will be different, and the main focus of your role is to enable those you support to have meaningful days, feeling empowered to live the life they love.
·Be able to demonstrate a warm, person centred and affirmative approach to people with Physical and Learning disabilities and other care conditions.
·Administer medication in line with our procedures
·Demonstrate written communication skills, sufficient to contribute to a record keeping system
·Help people using our services with activities of daily living such as bathing and using the toilet.
