The roleAs a Supply Chain and Logistics Manager you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Managing an area of activity within the Supply Chain Planning discipline and being accountable for the performance and results for this defined area, with results achieved through junior managers, mid- / senior grade professional associates or senior technical specialists.
Day to day, - Responsible for ensuring our Supply Chain is delivering all ship specific equipment, materials, and services on time
- Responsible for managing a ship specific material and equipment forecast tracker
- Responsible for engagement with logistics and ensuring plan delivers ship specific requirements including PFA and GFA equipment delivery
- Responsible for ensuring stock availability aligns with overall ship delivery plan
- Responsible for managing risks and opportunities with engagement from wider supply chain to ensure relevant mitigations are in place to maintain the overall ship delivery schedule
- Responsible for reporting on supplier performance and engaging with wider supply chain team to maintain supplier outputs and contract deliverables
Essential experience of the Supply Chain and Logistics ManagerMust haves:- Senior project manager experience
- Senior stakeholder engagement experience
- Strong communication
- Managing schedules
Advantageous:This role is a hybrid role with 3 - 4 days per week based on site at Rosyth
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
