Job Description

My client based in Solihull is seeking a Supply Chain Administrator to join their team in this leading 3PL.

Salary £20,000

Hours: Monday to Friday - standard working hours.

Role: A 12 month FTC initially.

Purpose of the role:

To integrate with the customer, supplier and departments to establish a partnership approach to collection plans. To build and maintain strong working relationships and understanding around the business that ensures good communication and collaboration concerning all vendor related issues. To be a primary point of contact to feed all issues and report these metrics to ensure continuous improvement.

Duties:

Build working relationships around the business to ensure good communication and collaboration concerning all vendor related issues.
o Support the customers new model introductions to ensure a smooth launch of the collection service across the UK and EU supplier base.
o To maintain and develop monthly vendor performance metrics ensuring continuous improvement targets are met.
o Act as the main interface for all supplier management issues.
o Be proactive in managing and resolving issues.
o Support the achievement of set targets.

The Person:

o Highly analytical and numerate with strong attention to detail
o Demonstrable knowledge of supply chain principles
o Ability to work autonomously and resolve issues.
