About the role:

The SRM Lead will be an IT service management professional with responsibility for supporting the supplier management function, framework, and all associated activities.

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:

You will support the supplier management framework and supplier management lifecycle, ensuring that the supplier management process is consistently followed, and compliant.

You will support the maintenance of supplier contracts and information within the supplier and contract management information system.

Service management:

You will support other service management processes and activities to support the delivery of BAU including incident management, event management, problem management, change management, capacity management, continuity management and availability management.

Maintain and manage supplier contracts, documents, and purchasing materials in the Service Management Information System.


Support the provision of regular, transparent and accurate reporting on all supplier management activities against agreed KPIs and performance criteria.

Manage and lead supplier relationships, including regularly scheduled performance reviews and renegotiations.

Financial management:

Consolidation and renegotiation of supplier opportunities to ensure best service and financial outcomes for the business.

Risk Management:

Work in collaboration with the operational risk and compliance manager to identify risks and issues that arise from the supplier management process.

Continual Improvement:

Assist in developing and making recommendations and own supplier management CI activities to improve overall process delivery.

Your will have significant experience in supplier/vendor management in an IT operational environment

You will have knowledge of - and adherence to - ITIL/ITSM standards.

You will have experience in customer service techniques and stakeholder management with proven ability to listen and influence.

You will have excellent planning, communication and presentation skills and have a flexible approach to a fast-paced, ever-evolving and pressurised environment.

Desirable qualifications include:
  • ITIL certifications or equivalent
  • Certificate/Diploma in supplier management
