Here at HM Land Registry, we have an exciting opportunity for a Supplier and Contract Manager (HEO & SEO) to join our team based at any of our 14 office locations. Joining on a Full/Part-time or Job share basis you will receive a competitive salary of £33,839 per annum, HEO £33,839 (Croydon £37,290)/SEO £38,552 (Croydon £42,099). A non-pensionable IT Allowance of £4,609 is payable.
Due to Covid-19, the role will initially be home based so an induction and training will be carried out remotely, with full support from the team. Once safe to do so, you will be based in one of our 14 office locations.

You will join our award-winning Digital, Data and Technology Directorate which is the in-house IT division at the heart of the move to a digital, data-driven organisation with the ambition to provide our customers with cutting-edge digital services.
We are now looking for a Supplier and Contract Manager (HEO & SEO) to join our Digital, Data and Technology team to help us to achieve this.

This is an opportunity to join an established team of Supplier and Contract Managers within HM Land Registry’s (HMLR) Digital Data and Technology (DDaT) Directorate, supporting both BAU Operations and our Transformation Programme.
As a Supplier and Contract Manager (HEO) you will proactively and effectively manage allocated contracts so that HMLR receives the desired value throughout the contract term. You will build and maintain supplier relationships and act as an escalation point for service matters. In addition you will ensure that engagement takes place with stakeholders to fully understand requirements.
As a Supplier and Contract Manager (SEO) you will proactively and effectively manage a grouping of suppliers and contracts within the DDaT ICT contract portfolio, this includes managing supplier performance against agreed contract KPIs and SLAs. You will be accountable for fully managing all aspects of technology contracts, ensuring successful delivery. In addition, you will coach and mentor colleagues in supplier management whilst promoting a service improvement culture.
What we’re looking for in our Supplier and Contract Manager (HEO & SEO):
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience of establishing strong working relationships with suppliers and delivering value. You will be able to demonstrate experience in managing issue resolution/change and its effects on teams/suppliers. and work in a logical, structured manner under time pressures to minimise risk in achieving desired outcomes. In addition you will be able to evaluate and propose practical alternatives where issues arise in supplier management.
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience of leading multi disciplinary teams, managing both people and resources. You will have previously established strong working relationships with suppliers and senior stakeholders within your organisation. You will be an effective and influential communicator who works in a logical manner under pressure. In addition you will be able to demonstrate experience in managing issues and delivering improvements.
