Supervisor Groundworks

Job Title: Groundworks Supervisor

Location: Nr. Peterborough

Contract: 6 months Monday – Friday 7.30am – 4.30pm

Rate: upto £250 a day

Start Date: Immediate

Due to our increasing workload, we require an experienced Groundworks Supervisor to join our busy site teams working throughout the local area.

A good knowledge of all aspects of Ground Work is required, along with some experience of supervising teams and ensuring all H&S policies and procedures are being followed. NPORS/CPCS and CSCS card an advantage, although additional training can be provided.

Duties include (but not limited to):

· Excavations

· Setting Out

· Concreting & Kerbing

· Drainage Works

· Read & understand Construction Drawings

· Toolbox Talks

· Supervising & Training Junior Team Members

· Operating Heavy Plant

Personal Requirements:

· A good level of physical fitness

· Happy to work out of doors throughout the year

· Keenness to learn new skills

· Full driving licence

· Willingness to turn a hand to any task required

· Good numeracy & literacy skills

· Self-motivated and proactive in dealing with any site issues

Experience:

* Groundworks: 3 years (Preferred)
