The role

As a Stores Manager you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Ensuring the smooth running of the stores department, responsible for stock control and the timely despatch of parts to meet the demands of production.

Day to day, you'll manage over a dedicated team and oversee the day to day functions of the stores, ensuring all tasks and activities assigned are completed within the allocated time frames. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Obtaining parts just in time for schedules, ensuring availability is maintained at all times. Procurement of parts ensuring best value for money
Reactive to parts procurement to reduce down time on fleet, ensuring the items are available to meet KPIs
Producing reports from stock files / defect management system and maintaining accuracy of reports presented to line management
Matching of sales invoices, ensuring accuracy, processing supplier delivery notes in line with schedules and allocated work streams

Essential experience of the Stores Manager
Relevant managerial experience
Experience with logistics / supply chain is preferred
Successful candidate will be passionate and motivated for both personal and business growth and can embrace change in this exciting time
Manufacturing/ Engineering Background

The role is Full time, Monday - Friday dayshift role and is on site.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
