The Role

Vision for Education is seeking multiple Specialist Science Teacher for all ages of children to work on a supply basis in North Yorkshire. Teaching in multiple schools across the region. The pupils are aged 5 to 16 and require additional support with Attention Deficit, Hyperactivity Disorder, Social Emotional and Mental Health challenges.

Schools cater for students with special educational needs. With outstanding facilities and resources pupil engagement is their focus. The team you will join pride themselves on their child-centred approach to supporting their pupils. Public transport links to the school are available, but access to a vehicle would be an advantage.


To be considered for the Specialist Science Teacher role you must:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Newly Qualified Teaching Status (NQT)

Hold a driving licence, which would be preferred, but not essential.
A DBS Certificate on the update service is an advantage but not essential, this can be arranged.
Confident de-escalating challenging situations. Training would be an advantage but not essential.
