Learning Support Assistant / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant
Do you have a passion to help others? Do you work well independently and as part of a team?
Due to the outbreak of Covid-19 I am now recruiting for various SEN Schools across South West London, for now and September 2020.
The schools are of various abilities, ranging from moderate learning difficulties to complex and profound needs. The posts require talented SEND / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants who are flexible, enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting children with educational needs.
Having experience of working with children with SEND / Special Educational Needs and Disabilities would be a benefit but not compulsory, an enthusiasm for SEN/Special Needs and helping others is though.
You will always need to feel confident within a classroom environment and be able to use your initiative along with being pro-active, and most importantly being able to take direction from a class teacher.
The role will include:
Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
1:1 work with students who require additional support
Leading group work
Helping the class teacher with pupil observations
As a SEND TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant through TeacherActive you will receive:
Competitive rates of pay
Support from a dedicated team of consultants
An excellent referral scheme *Terms and Conditions apply*
Access to a range of unique positions in our schools
Sense of reward
All our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard-earned cash.
