Hotel - Brockenhurst - £28,000 - £33,000+tips
Boutique Hotel ideally situated in the beautiful area of Brockenhurst. The Hotel is famous for its modern cuisine and is very popular with locals and tourists. The Hotel Restaurant offers a selection of dishes using fresh local produce. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to join their team.
As a Sous Chef you will - 5/7 days. The hours are 48 a week.
The shifts are made up of two 'on' shifts 8:30-close
Working hours: 8:30-17:00 or 15:00 - CLOSE
Due to location own transport is essential
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
To develop & assist the Jnr Chefs in the kitchen
To produce and present dishes to meet the required standard
To run a section within a kitchen and the full kitchen in absence of the Head Chef
To assist in monitoring and maintaining quality of food produced
What You Need To Be a Successful:
Previous experience in a similar role as a Sous Chef or Jnr Sous Chef
Experience cooking with fresh produce and to a high standard
A creative flair with a passion for the hospitality industry
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Educated to the NVQ level or equivalent, not essential
