Sous Chef - Gastro Pub - Whitchurch - £12/hour - Live- In Available
Are you a Sous Chef who is looking for a new challenge?
I am looking for a Sous Chef to join the team at a gastro pub using fresh food, located near Whitchurch. The role offers great progression and I am keen to find someone with a bit of creativity and flair. You will be working 40 hours a week and do split shifts.
The pub is currently not serving food on Sunday and Monday evenings.
- Lead the kitchen team in head chef's absence
- Prepping fresh food menu items and serving them to a high standard
- Come up with new ideas for the specials
- Supporting with training and development of more junior chefs
The Ideal Candidate would possess the following….
- Experience of working within a fresh food kitchen at Sous Chef level
- A "can do" attitude
- Experience in managing a kitchen in the Head Chef's absence
