Sous Chef-Gastro Pub in Havant on £24K - £26K -Live In

Role Overview:

Our client is a popular, food led gastro pub situated in Havant. The pub operates an impressive fresh food menu and is a part of a large group of pubs, offering excellent career opportunities to develop and progress. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to join their brigade. As a Sous Chef you will work 5/7 days per week (40 hrs various shifts). There is a live in accommodation available for the successful candidate, if required.

Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Sous Chef (Havant):

  • Producing dishes to meet the required standard
  • Ensuring food safety and health and hygiene
  • Develop and train the other chefs

What You Need To Be a Successful Sous Chef (Havant):

  • NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications are required
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (advantageous)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Previous experience in a similar role
