The hotel is a very popular conference and events venue, who also cater for an on-site all day dining restaurant and hotel breakfasts.
The sous chef role will be working on both the grill restaurant and events side of the business. Working with the head chef to design new menu's, deliver consistently high standards of food for large numbers of guests, train the team and maintain excellent levels of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
The job is working 45 hours per week, with 5 days off every 14 days. Shifts are all straight shifts and vary in starting times depending on business needs. They also guarantee one weekend off every six weeks. Other benefits include staff meals, uniform and access to free leisure and entertainment facilities.
