The venue is a very popular spot that hosts around 40 weddings per year, large banquets, formal dinners and conferences for up to 150 guests, no two days are the same in this job.
The job will involve lots of menu planning, so initiative and creativity are a must. Other duties include, ordering, rotas, staff training and leading the team throughout service.
The ideal candidate for this role will currently be working within a sous chef or junior sous chef role, will have experience catering for large C&B events, will have a real passion for the job, will be a professionally trained chef, will be competent with all food safety and kitchen hygiene procedures and will have a strong understanding of IT.
