The role:

We are recruiting for a Sous Chef in the beautiful Winchester area.  This independent Pub has just been taken over my new owners and are looking for a Sous Chef with a view within the year to progress to a Head Chef level.

You’ll be working with seasonal, local and regional ingredients, in a well-equipped but small kitchen team.


Key information:

  • Full Time, Permanent Contract.

  • You will be required to work around 45 hrs per week minimum

  • Working a mixture of Shifts on a 5 out of 7 day working week.

  • Live in Accommodation is available

  • City Centre location, train & bus links within a short walk

  • Competitive Salary £25,000 + Tips & Bonus



Key responsibilities include:

Being a Sous Chef is a real challenge, so you can count on the full support of the team & management within this great company.

Assisting with the running of the kitchen team through service, managing a fast paced kitchen environment.


Skills required:

That means you’ll need to be a leader, as well as strong experience. You’ll also be a great communicator, calm under pressure, and you’ll be driven by a shared vision of success and a company that will give you the tools to do so.

We offer a Competitive Salary of up to £25,000 per annum + a share of Tips. Onsite accommodation is also available and the location is in the beautiful centre of Winchester.
