The role

As a Software Test Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. As a Software Test Engineer, you will work as part of a team to develop the software product

Day to day, the role will focus on writing and maintaining automated tests to prove new and existing functionality in the product. Our current tests are written in Cypress (for functional tests) and JMeter (for performance tests) but we'd be delighted to hear from people with experience of other testing frameworks as well. The current test suite is in its infancy, so this is a great chance for someone to come and help shape the testing strategy and implementation. You'll also be helping the current test team with their manual tests, helping capture, report and support the analysis of bugs as they're found.

Essential experience of the Software Test Engineer,
Proven experience writing and maintaining automated tests for a Full Stack Application
Exposure to Continuous Integration and deployment as part of a software release process.
Ability to identify, research and implement effective testing techniques and tools.
Proven experience of Functional Testing: running and managing appropriate tests to ensure requirements are met.

This role provides hybrid/flexible working arrangements with 1-2 days per week in the office.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
