Job Description

Software & Hardware Product Owner required to join an organisation in Stirling who are creating a cutting-edge product. You will become a member of the R&D department and will be joining a newly created Product Management function, during a time of unprecedented growth.

The company:

They are a growing product company and have been particularly busy over the past 6 months and through Coronavirus. With their product recently going to market, and with new products in the pipeline, the current Manager of the Product function is looking for three Product Owners to help better and develop not only the products themselves, but the whole department. You will be allocated one main product stream and will be working alongside both the business and marketing teams, as well as the wider development team.

The office is based in Stirling, however they are currently all fully remote and the role can be largely remote after Covid-19. As long as you can get to the office once or twice a month, that works! They have recently received huge funding and the pipeline for work is substantial, with no signs of slowing up.

The role:

You will need to be a Product specialist, ideally from both a Hardware AND Software background. You will work across both Agile and SAFE methodologies and will be responsible for the management, execution and release of the new platform. You will act as the focal point between the Product Management function and the Software development teams and across the full product lifecycle - including both Hardware and Software. You will largely be managing the requirements as well as owning the product backlog - defining scope and working on a daily basis with the development team creating the new platform.

This is a heavily regulated industry, so coming from a similar background would be ideal (but not a necessity). There are multiple new projects to work on and this role has huge scope to progress and grow, within the expanding organisation.

This is an opportunity to join a company working on brand new projects and who are developing a cutting-edge product for the medical industry. You will be rewarded with a very competitive salary and the knowledge that you will be making a big difference to people's lives across the world.
