Job Description

Network Healthcare is currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker for the Care Services Team incorporating Children in Care to be based within Children Services in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. This is a full time permanent vacancy.

Children Services in Buckinghamshire are on a journey to delivering outstanding services. Children and their families are at the centre of everything Buckinghamshire CC do. Building on the Strengthening Families model adopted for Child Protection conferences in 2016, Buckinghamshire want to apply the latest skills and knowledge to achieve the best outcomes possible for the children they seek to protect and support.

In conjunction with the University of Sheffield, Buckinghamshire are keen to incorporate the key principles of the "Strengthening Families, Enhancing Futures" to services in Buckinghamshire to enhance and recognise what they already do.

The Care Services Team incorporates Children in Care/Looked after Children and will involve managing a caseload. These challenging but rewarding roles will see you working directly with Children and Young people ensuring the voice of the child is heard and listened to at all times.

In order to be considered for this position, candidates must hold a degree in Social Work with at least two years PQ experience, have a valid HCPC registration, have previous experience working in a Children in Care or Looked after Children team, be able to work well under pressure, have excellent knowledge of relevant child legislation and have excellent communication skills.
